Dear ASC community,
We wanted to take a moment to follow up our recent request for feedback around team formation for our non-select teams. As you might recall, we sent out a survey in November of last year that aimed to collect the perspectives of our community as we explore potential modifications to our approach.
Firstly, we sincerely thank all of you who took the time to share your thoughtful feedback. We have carefully reviewed the response, and they have provided valuable insights for us as a club.
The feedback we received is helping guide our discussions and considerations as we evaluate our current approach and where improvements can be made that best serve the ASC community. To this end, we have established a committee dedicated to charting a path forward. At this stage, we are exploring multiple aspects including but not limited to, BAYS (Boston Area Youth Soccer league) applicability, our tryout structure, and comparing/contrasting with other soccer programs across the state.
We want to emphasize that this will be a longer-term process, as there are several considerations to acknowledge and discuss. At this stage, we will not be making any changes for the 2026 Spring season.
We will continue working through this and will provide updates as and when there is meaningful progress to share.
